Hey! I’m Steph, hotographer and founder of Total Capture Photography.
From the whole team thank you for choosing us to be your photographers, we will capture your story, the love, the special bonds and moments you can re-live over and over with beautiful photographic artwork.
We make it fun, stress free and make you look and feel comfortable and your best in the most natural way – we’re all for natural style of photos. We specialise in printed legacy artwork for families. Our motto is:

Meet The Crew
Steph
Founder & Adelaide Family, Branding & Event Photographer
Stephanie founded Total Capture in 2006 at just age 19 out of a fascination with light and a passion for capturing peoples stories. Always with a camera in her hand Stephanie’s inspiration is to combine her love of health with her love of photography. As a result, she has a real passion for helping experts, thought leaders and entrepreneurs in the health, wellness and personal growth space. Her career highlights have been shooting internationally at health retreats in the Blue Zone Greek Island of Ikaria and Bali.
She spent a decade establishing the brands reputation amongst the Wellness industry in Melbourne before moving to the Adelaide Hills and expanding her team across the two states. Today manages a team who share her passions and delivers high end professional photography that our clients love us for.
A highly experienced portrait photographer in both studio and natural light environments, Stephanie is fully accredited with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and specialises in portrait, wedding, event and commercial photography.
Stephanie’s work has been published on the front cover of Womens Network Magazine & Inspired Coach magazine, and in The Age, Herald Sun, Who Weekly, Polka Dot Bride & Roar magazine amongst others and a billboard in Time Square NYC in 2024.
She is a wife to Brett Hill, and a mum of 3 school aged beautiful children.
Samantha
Studio Admin Assistant & Bookings Coordinator
Samantha has been part of our crew since 2023.
Hey! I’m Samantha. I’m a mum of two girls, and between caring and chauffeuring them, studying Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), and working, I totally get the juggles of parenting life! I love working with kids but also absolutely love the adult chats I get to have through working here at the Studio and being around the energies and stories that come in here.
Rhys
Adelaide Family, Branding, Wedding & Event Photographer
Hi I’m Rhys. Since I picked up a camera as a kid, I’ve been hooked. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion that I have been lucky enough to make my career.
I started photographing professionally in 2010 and I’m highly experienced in both studio and on location photography shooting a range of styles including family and branding portraits, weddings, fashion, editorial, commercial, products, and events.
When it comes to photography, I believe in capturing the genuine, unscripted moments that tell a true story. Whether it’s a wedding, a portrait session, or an adventure in an unfamiliar landscape, my focus is on creating images that feel authentic and reflect the real emotions of the moment. My professional, relaxed and warm personality makes clients feel at ease and I can give direction to make people look and feel incredible and comfortable in front of the camera.
I love capturing families because I know how special photos can be. My own pictures are tied to my favorite moments and I’m passionate about helping families create those kinds of keepsakes. I want people to be able to not just look at their photos but look back at the memories that those images are tied to.
I’ve worked with Serafina, the Adelaide Convention Centre, Catherine House, Cellar Door Fest, Out in the Paddock for the Soho Supper Club and some of their other events and CMV Group in both Adelaide and Melbourne.
I pride myself on offering a wedding photography experience that is fun, yet natural and unequivocally you and your partner. With a candid and documentary-style approach, I aim to capture the unforgettable moments as they happen allowing you to relive all the emotion of your wedding day for years to come.
My wife and I tied the knot in 2020 during the height of COVID. It was a unique experience that made me even more grateful for the special moments I get to capture for others. She’s not just my partner in life but also my favorite travel companion. Together, we’ve explored breathtaking places like Iceland, Hong Kong, South Korea, Bali, and Singapore to name a few. I’m constantly inspired by the diverse places and amazing landscapes around the world.
Elliott
Adelaide Family Photographer
Elliott has been part of our crew since 2019. He is an innovative artist who is heavily influenced and in touch with nature.
Based in the Fleurieu Peninsula at Inman Valley and services our clients who are down south a couple of hours drive from the studio – Enabling a local location photoshoot and an online image selection appointment – If you live in that area Elliott will be your photographer and there is no need to travel to our St Agnes studio.
He writes, illustrates and photographs, events, live music, people and culture. He approaches his subjects with not only the intention to capture an image, but to connect, appreciate and share a moment.
His easy going nature creates a relaxed, judgement free environment for his subjects to explore genuine expression. He has a vivid appreciation for light, a strong desire to travel, a dream to see it all, always with a camera in hand.

Adelaide Studio Location
Our custom built double photography studio is located in St Agnes (15km from the Adelaide CBD). We opened this space in March 2021, relocated from Melbourne. We have a large creative lighting studio and a natural light studio. Every inch of the shop is purpose built to be used as photography backdrops. Our stylish reception area is popular for relaxed environmental branding portraits and we can transform the space into a bespoke bedroom setting popular for maternity and newborn sessions. We use privacy screens to filter the beautiful natural light from the front window whilst ensuring you are completely comfortable during your session. We have a makeup area for those wanting to be pampered. A seperate change room, toilet and baby change table too. Our Montessori inspired kids play area keeps the little ones entertained. Our entire shop is completely baby and toddler proof, too. Design consultations are done in-person with a cinematic projection on the big screen. We also love photographing outdoors and at clients homes, and we travel all around Adelaide. Stephanie lives on acreage in the Adelaide Hills and has hosted some photoshoots on her property, and knows beautiful settings in the hills to suggest for your shoot. Next door to our studio there is a stunning conservation park so you can be photographed in a bushland setting and in our studio in the one session if you desire.
