“Having just moved to Adelaide a few months prior, I knew I wanted to have new photos taken for my new Aussie business’s website and socials, but I was unsure who to work with. A few weeks later, I was very lucky to win a voucher for a photo shoot with Total Capture- a fantastic experience I would like to share here. We met about a month before the shoot date at her beautiful studio and discussed my brand, ideas, outfit ideas and so on. Stephanie was great in listening to me and getting a feel for the message I wanted to tell with the photos. We analyzed pictures from past photo shoots as well as photos that inspired me together and brainstormed ideas and locations. We planned the shoot for a month later which gave me enough time to work on my branding (set up a new website) and outfits in the meantime. I sent her photos of my outfits a few days before the shoot and Stephanie gave me very helpful feedback. The actual shooting day was just a treat. As soon as I arrived, I felt welcomed and relaxed, we again discussed the outfits, props and location ideas. We decided to shoot a few outifts in studio, as well as another outfit outside in a very pretty park, in walking distance from the studio. I found Stephanie to be great at communicating during the shoot, she kept showing me photos and asked if I am pleased or if we should try a different angle and so on. She is very aware and precise while she works and it was an immense help to achieve “the idea ” so quickly and in a relaxed, fun way. Sorting through the photos and picking my favorite 15 was hard- because I loved all of them so much- yet a delightful experience. I was able to see them all projected on the big studio wall. Stephanie helped me choose my favorites while keeping in mind my branding/ message along the way. I received the final photos only 4 days later, and I am extremely happy with them. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few branding photographers in the past but Stephanie is hands down the best one of them.
